Here at TurboTax, we geared up this week for our annual Pink Week, which kicked off on Monday. Food is a great option to raise funds. We hosted dessert sales in our café and a Wednesday ice cream social, with funds going to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Visuals and social gatherings are also a great way to raise awareness. Pink Week decorations took over common areas at TurboTax headquarters, and one of our own gave a lunchtime learning on her experience with breast cancer. But the ultimate tip to donating is simple: everything counts. From bake sales to simply wearing a color – your time, money, and dedication does make a difference. Lastly, remember to track all your great donations on ItsDeductible, this will make a difference come tax time.
