Right now, if you’re a California, District of Columbia or a Maryland resident, keep reading to see how this extension can help you out! DC – DC Health Link extended their 2016 enrollment deadline through this Tuesday, February 2nd, giving people a last chance to get covered for the year. California – If you started the process of enrolling in Covered California but did not complete your application, the deadline extended. You have until midnight this Saturday, February 6th to enroll. If you need extra assistance, a Service Center representative or certified enroller can guide you through the process. Maryland – If you started enrolling by January 31st but weren’t able to complete due to the recent snowstorm, Maryland Health Connection has extended their deadline to this Friday, February 5th. If you live in District of Columbia, California or Maryland and still need to finish enrolling in health insurance, don’t waste any time and take advantage of these extensions and avoid a tax penalty!
